Privacy

Arrival Mode is built to be useful the moment you land — without asking anything of you. We do not collect personal data, we have no accounts or sign-in, and we set no cookies.
What stays on your device
The app uses your browser's local storage for two small things, both of which live only in your browser and are never sent to us:
- • Checklist progress — which steps you've ticked off, so it survives a reload.
- • Language choice — so the interface stays in the language you picked.
Clearing your browser's site data removes both. Installing the app and its offline cache (via a service worker) also stays entirely on your device.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand roughly how many people use each airport guide. It is cookieless and privacy-first: it counts anonymous page views and does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not track you across other websites. Because no personal data or cookies are involved, no consent banner is needed.
If you send a suggestion
Each airport section has a "Suggest a correction" option. If you use it, what you type — the suggested change, an optional source link, and an optional email only if you want a reply — is sent to a private Google Sheet we review by hand. We use it solely to check and, if it's right, apply your correction. It's entirely voluntary, and if you leave the email blank the suggestion is effectively anonymous. No cookies are involved.
No trackers, ads, or data selling
There are no advertising trackers, no social-media pixels, and we never sell or share data. Links to airports, transit operators, e-visa or arrival-card sites open third-party websites that have their own privacy policies.
A note on the guidance itself
The airport guidance here is general information to help you avoid common scams — it is not official or legal advice. Rules, prices and scams change, so always verify locally and follow airport, immigration and police instructions.
